1 Data Collection
We collect and access various types of data from financial institutions, e-commerce platforms, and direct user input. Below is a detailed outline of the data we collect:
1.1 Bank Account Data via Plaid
We use Plaid to securely connect with your financial institution. Through Plaid, we access the following information:
- Auth: Information to verify your account ownership and ensure authorized access. We do not have access to your login information.
- Balance: Real-time account balance information across your linked accounts.
- Transactions: A history of transactions, including details such as date, amount, merchant, and description.
- Recurring Transactions: Identification of recurring payments or subscriptions to help with financial planning and automation.
- Identity: Personal information associated with your account, such as name, email, and account identifiers, used for verification purposes.
- Transactions Refresh: Real-time updates to ensure that transaction data remains current and accurate.
Note: We only use read-only access to your bank account data and do not have the ability to move or withdraw funds.
1.2 E-commerce Data via Shopify
We integrate with Shopify to provide accounting and financial automation for your e-commerce business. Through this connection, we access the following scopes of information:
- Orders:
- read_orders: Retrieve information on processed orders to generate reports and forecasts.
- read_all_orders: Access historical orders, even if they were created before integration with our service.
- Inventory:
- read_inventory: Access information about your current product inventory, helping track stock levels and product availability.
- Products:
- read_products: Access product details, such as prices, descriptions, and SKUs, to generate insights and sales reports.
- Customers:
- read_customers: Access customer data, including names and contact information, to assist with customer segmentation and financial analysis.
- Shipping and Returns:
- read_shipping: Access shipping information associated with orders to support logistics and reporting.
- read_returns: Retrieve data on returned products to help manage refunds and restocking.
- Locations:
- read_locations: Access store locations where orders are fulfilled, helping track operational performance across sites.
